VERSION 5.0 RELEASED - May 7th, 2021 - A new data component called Editor Categories was added to help increase visiblity to Music Editors. This is due to a new distribution client that is handling Pacifica's music labels. Page load time decreased.

This site was designed to streamline and automate the way composers interact with Studio 51. All demo submissions, reviews, and configuration of metadata will occur within this site. Each of these processes have been carefully designed and optimized to reduce not only errors, but the amount of work required by you to quickly get your music from your studio through Studio 51 and then back out to the various libraries that we serve. All metadata configuration is now handled via simple web forms with most of the heavy lifting occurring automatically and behind the scenes, thus allowing you to concentrate on simply writing and submitting great music.
There are several areas to this site that are accessible via the buttons along the top of the screen. Each of those areas are described below.
This are is where you will find all the current open opportunities that are available for you to write for. This system knows which writing groups you are associated with and only displays opportunities that are relavant to you. Once an opportunity is closed it simply disappears from your list, so you know that you are always looking at current information. You can see, at a glance, all the details related to the open opportunities including audio samples, submission projected deadlines and the remaining count of pieces that are needed to fill an opportunity. This is the area you will go to to submit your demos for review.
Note that all of the columns in the table found in this area are sortable by simply clicking on a column name. You can sort on multiple columns by holding down the shift key as you click on the various columns you wish to sort by, which makes this table viewable in a number of different ways.
This area contains all of the music you have submitted to Studio 51. You will come here to see the review status of demos that you have submitted. If edits are required, you will see the details of the changes requested from here. You will also be able to resubmit your demos through this area once you have made the required changes. Additionally, this area displays all of your demos that have been accepted and is where you will go to further configure your accepted pieces with metadata via a simple and intuitive web form. Finally, this area also acts as an archive for all the pieces that you have ever submitted through Studio 51.

This area contains music samples that you can listen to to hear examples of pieces in various styles that are available for you to submit music to. Use these sample pieces as a reference point to guide your submissions into the various genres.

The Administrator may be supplying your Metadata for you however, there are some Metadata items that need to be be furnished by the Composer. If your submission is accepted, you also may need to upload your Stem wave files and identify the primary Instruments for each Stem, as well as electronically create Schedule A PDF file in which you acknowledge proper use of samples. Look in "My Music"->"Metadata In Progress" to find your accepted submission and finish any required tasks.
